About Adriana Nunan

Adriana Nunan (CRP 05/25233) is a psychologist and cognitive therapist, certified by the FBTC (Brazilian Federation of Cognitive Therapies). She works with adults in Portuguese, English and Spanish, in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Graduated from PUC-Rio, with a Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, having over 20 years of experience in service, research and teaching. Her specialties include Cognitive Therapy (including depression and anxiety), Couple´s Therapy, and Grief Therapy.

Author of “Homosexuality: From Prejudice to Consumption Patterns” (Rio de Janeiro: Caravansarai, 2003) and “Love Relationships in the Digital Age” (Rio de Janeiro: Editora dos Editores, 2019), as well as articles and chapters from academic books. A pioneer in Brazil, she helped found ATC-Rio (Rio de Janeiro State Cognitive Therapy Association).
